The big 20!

Another birthday and I got to spend it here in Mexico. I guess that's a good way to start the year! I also wanted to thank everyone who took the time to write me! Although I did not get to spend my birthday at home with my parents, I got to spend it with my other family. I have met many cool Elders here that I will be in contact with my after my mission! I still have 15 months left so imagine all the people I'm still going to meet! It's great being here!

There are transfers this Monday so we have been getting everything ready. Transfers are usually crazy because we have to help everyone get to their new area, but it's always a cool experience. We didn't do much this week so I'm sorry once again that it's so short. Since I didn't do much I'll share my scripture of the week.

Doctrine & Covenants 78:17-18
 17 Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;
18 And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.
Sometimes we have doubts or concerns in our life..... Sometimes we feel lost......
I just hope that these things will never distance you from turning to God first. He loves you and knows you perfectly. Have faith. It's true.

Have a great week everyone!

#Birthdayweek

Man, What a week! It was a long but fun week. On Monday as usual are usually the busiest days in the office. It's usually the days where we stay a little longer helping President Morales update some things. Those are usually the best days because it's whenever we get to talk to him and be with him for a while. After we are done in the office we go work in our areas. It's usually only for a couple of hours so we try to get the best out of it.

On Tuesday Elder Johnson and I went to Ciudad Del Carmen for a specialized zone conference. Usually President plans one of these every 6 months or so but since he leaves in June he is trying to make it happen now. President Morales and Sister Morales showed some videos and talked for a little but most of the conferences were practices. It was fun being able to be the investigator and have some Elder teach me. After that we ate some Sam´s pizza and played some Volleyball. It's always fun being able to visit other areas and at the same time help President. I also stayed there for 1 day and I had the opportunity to work with some Elders from there. It´s nice being able to learn from others and grow as a missionary.

On Wednesday morning we took a bus back to Villahermosa and basically just traveled until 12 then I just went to work with Elder Johnson to his area. There wasn´t really much action in this day but it was cool overall.

*Skip a day*

On Friday we had our Zone conference with President. He gathered two zones, which were Villahermosa and Gaviotas! We were able to practice all 5 lessons with different members and investigators which is always a good to time to improve. After we finished I started thinking of how I was doing that exactly 4 months ago, but of course with a different companion in a different place. It's crazy how at the end of the practices I could see the difference. I am enjoying it and can't wait to keep improving. I noticed some things where I'm going to continue working in. I had fun and of course I also had the opportunity to kill it in Volleyball.

I am excited for this week. There are always so many things a missionary goes through every week. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Blog: 8

Wow to start off I just wanted to thank everyone who still continues to write me after 8 months! I am blessed to be a missionary and #Imlovinit! I continue to learn so many thing every day! Of course I still miss my family and things I had back home, but 2 years is nothing compared to what Christ had to go through when he was here.
I'm sorry I didn't write last week........ And maybe the week before that as well. This blogging life isn't easy!
Mmmmm what did I do this week? I had the opportunity to go with President to Zapata. We were there for 6 hours but it's always fun being with him. We always have a little study session on the way there so it's always a learning experience.
On Friday 3 zones came to the temple so we were able to help with that! Man  I don't think I did anything thing else! I'm sorry to all my readers, sometimes life isn't perfect. Have a great week everyone!
